On July 4, JB Royer was seriously injured in a grease accident while working in the kitchen at Royers.
JB has spent much of his life feeding people, welcoming strangers like family, and giving generously to the Round Top community and far beyond it. Anyone who knows JB knows that hospitality is not simply his profession. It is who he is. He has shown up for countless people through meals, celebrations, fundraisers, friendships, and the unmistakable warmth that has made Royers such a meaningful place for so many.
Now, it is our opportunity to show up for him.
JB is beginning what may be a difficult recovery from his burn injuries. The days ahead may include significant medical treatment, follow-up care, rehabilitation, time away from the restaurant, and the many unexpected expenses that accompany a serious accident.
We are raising funds to help relieve some of that burden so JB and his family can focus on what matters most: his healing and recovery.
Contributions will help support:
Medical treatment and related expenses
Follow-up appointments, rehabilitation, and recovery care
Travel and other unforeseen costs for JB and his family
JB has built a life around taking care of other people. Through Royers, he and his family have created far more than a restaurant. They have created a place where people gather, celebrate, reconnect, and leave feeling like part of the family.
Let’s return some of the love JB has poured into others for so many years.
Every contribution, prayer, encouraging message, and share of this page will mean more than we can adequately express. Thank you for standing with JB, Jamie, the Royer family, and the entire Royers team during this time.
