Truly it is a sad finger pointing at us as a society as we have some to ACCEPT little or no service from the retailer, the online service provide, and especially in the food service business. We know that we are not perfect, we drop balls, make mistakes BUT WE OWN UP & TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR OUR MISQUES! We had Dominoes Pizza, which (we like!) delivered to us last night.
I asked the manager, who was taking our order, to please make sure it ALL OF THE ORDER gets to us, the past two orders were screwed up pretty badly requiring a second delivery. He promised me that it would be taken care of......of course it wasn't! The driver received from me a 25% tip, was apologetic, blaming the person who put the order together. I called the manager back, Derek, who of course was apologetic but blaming the driver for not checking the order before he left. I told him how they run there store is their business but i would like the rest of my order, not wanting to pay a tip to the second driver, which we were told would be taken care of. We got the rest of the order 45 minutes later and the second driver didn't understand as to why he didn't get a tip. I told Derek when i was placing the order that we obviously like the product or we wouldn't keep calling back to order more pizza....think that this will be the last time for awhile!
